Get ready in five minutes
Brief advance preparation streamlines the collection and valuation process:
Where practical, removing non-metallic attachments like rubber, glass, or plastic maximizes scrap grade and payout value.
With ScrapX, you bypass the labor, transport, and wait times of traditional scrap yard visits.
- 1. Sort by metal: Keep copper, brass, aluminium, stainless steel and steel in separate piles.
- 2. Centralize materials: Aggregating scrap into an accessible area expedites handling.
- 3. Ensure clear access: Maintain an unobstructed pathway for safe and swift transport.
- 4. Provide visual documentation: Clear photos assist our team in offering accurate pre-arrival estimates.
- 5. Estimate total volume: Providing an approximate count ensures appropriate vehicle dispatch.
Operating Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm across Canberra, Queanbeyan, Yass, and surrounds.
